Our company places significant efforts into the physical and mental health as well as safety management of our employees. In addition to complying with legal regulations, we provide regular health check-ups and conduct special examinations for employees engaged in specific operations. We foster a safety-conscious environment and implement diverse health care measures to establish a safe and healthy working environment, aiming to prevent occupational accidents and illnesses. Eurocharm TW, in accordance with local regulations, is not required to perform special health examinations or use contracted medical service institutions; only general labor health checks are necessary. Eurocharm TW exceeds regulatory requirements by conducting employee health check-ups every two years. In 2024, a health check-up for all employees was completed. The results showed that 4.8% of employees had abnormal cholesterol levels, 4.16% had abnormal body fat levels, and 0.32% had abnormal blood sugar levels. VPIC1 in Vietnam has a medical care office staffed with 9 full-time medical personnel who provide comprehensive medical services to all employees, including health education, consultations, first aid training, food poisoning drills, and preliminary diagnoses. According to relevant local regulations, general and special health examinations (health checks for noise and toluene exposure) are conducted. In 2024, a total of 6,188 health checks were conducted for employees of VPIC1 in Vietnam, with 742 special health examinations carried out. Non-employee health checks are the responsibility of the contracting employer. During the year, there were no cases of employees or contractors within the Group experiencing fatal, work-related health deterioration. The results of these checkups are as follows.

Results of Special Health Examination (Hearing, level of toluene in the blood, etc.)
During the special health examination process at VPIC1 in Vietnam, 61 employees were found to have hearing abnormalities. The medical room arranged for further professional examinations and notified the safety office and relevant departments to assist in adjusting the employees’ duties, ensuring they receive proper care.
We encourage employees to participate in recreational activities after work. For example, the VPIC1 plant in Vietnam has a football field where employees frequently engage in friendly matches after work. Senior colleagues at Eurocharm TW share a strong bond and also organize sports exchange activities such as basketball and softball after work, allowing health promotion to deeply resonate with employees. In the future, we will invite non-employee workers to join the company’s health promotion activities, with the goal of moving towards an outstanding healthy workplace.
